Education:

I was an athlete throughout my entire life and all the way through my collegiate volleyball career. I graduated California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a minor in psychology. After years in the sports performance industry, I received my Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. With an original intent to better fuel athletic demand, I quickly found a deep passion for overall health and wellness and how to approach it from multiple angles.

In Practice:

I’m not your average nutritionist. I think of myself as more of a hybrid. I live in the functional medicine space, but I also don’t love dogma and believe that committing to one approach over another isn’t always the most beneficial to who I am serving.

I’m here to help you find your way to your best self, both mentally and physically. My approach means supporting the physical body through diet and lifestyle, supporting the growth that releases you from limiting beliefs, and reframing your mindset holds. Humans are like puzzles. I like to put the pieces together. We get to the root cause and we do what we need to heal.

I am a firm believer in keeping an open mind, but trusting YOUR truth – take what resonates, and leave what doesn’t. In practice, I focus on approaching wellness by challenging your mindset and helping you find your unique answers; while supporting you with evidence based science. Focusing on testing and roots cause answers helps me guide your everyday diet and lifestyle choices.

Fun facts about me:

I love coffee more than the average human, and I’m known to drive over an hour to eat at a specific restaurant. I have a passion for cooking and am the most joyful when I get to cook and spend time with my loved ones. I’m a very active human and I prefer to be outside playing beach volleyball or soccer, hiking, and wakeboarding. I thoroughly enjoy my sleep and have every intention of starting a podcast called “Eat. Sleep. Poop” because those are the basics of life (My friend got me a customized mug as proof!). I find myself asking deep questions to better understand my thought process and the way I do things. I find it serves me well and brings answers to things I wouldn’t have otherwise had the awareness of. When we work together, you can expect a similar depth… not because I’m nosey but because I care.
